Our Jill , female, ferrets
Our Jill, female, ferrets are now old enough to be bred from but we will not be breeding all 5 of them. We plan a litter from 2 of our girls, Cheyenne, who has already been mated to our Comanche and maybe form either Pawnee or Soux.
Again our girls are named after Americn Indian tribes and mainly cinnected to the Siox tribe in particular.
Sioux was our first little girl so she is the 'main lady' among them.
We are planning to have one of our boys a vasectomy so he can help take the girls our of season so they don't have to be bred from. We may have one or two of the girls speyed but not until next year when we decide who we would like to breed from and who we would rather have just for showing and pets.
Pics asap.

Sioux
Sioux is our original ferret jill that we bought in March last year. She was from an early litter born in Leeds. She is from a silver and polecat mating so if I do decide to breed her I'd very much like to put her to a silver hob. Sioux is a nice light polecat mitt jill. She is tiny at only aorund 15ounces fully grown.
Cheyenne
Cheyenne comes from Caerphilly in Wales and I was told she was a 1/2 angora girl, whether she is angora or not is not important to me, she is a gorgeous silver mitt jill and very friendly. She is massive for a jill and is often mistaken for a hob. Apparently these huge ferrets are becoming known as 'liner' ferrets. That's new to me I've never heard of that before!
Cheyenne has been mated to my hob Comanche so I'm hoping for kitts in the next 5 weeks or so.
